Chanted prayers
Meditation is the heart of Buddhist practice. Kadampa Buddhists meditate throughout the day, whether informally during all our daily activities, during formal sessions, or both.
At KMC Tampa Bay, we regularly have chanted prayer and meditation sessions, called pujas are held. They combine meditation, visualization and recitation of prayers and mantras. Most of these sessions are free and open to the public.
COVID19 Response: Center visits are temporarily suspended—please check back in the future for potential live streaming puja options, thank you for your understanding.
Our public pujas include:
- Heart Jewel
- Offering to the Spiritual Guide
- Prayers to Mother Tara: Liberation from Sorrow
- Melodious Drum also known as Long Protector Puja
Please see the Chanted Prayers Calendar for exact location, dates, times and details.
Contact us if you have any questions about the sessions.
*Note: Vajrayogini practice is offered daily for those who have received Vajrayogini Empowerment. Please contact us for details.
