Bonnie Schlag

Bonnie has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism since 2009. She has received teachings and empowerments directly from Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Known for her wisdom and grace, Bonnie is a dedicated and inspiring example of how to be a sincere practitioner of Modern Buddhism.

Danilo Conner

Danilo Conner

Danilo has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism since 2012, joined the Foundation Program in 2013, and is currently studying on the Teacher Training Program at KMC Tampa Bay. He lived at the Safety Harbor center for 2 years to coordinate the education program, has received empowerments & teachings from senior teachers in the NKT. Danilo has been one of the main volunteers in the community for many years now and is known for his compassion, humor and light, positive attitude.

Greg Goodman

Greg Goodman

Greg has been a sincere practitioner of Kadampa Buddhism since 2001. He has received empowerments and teachings directly from Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso as well as from many other senior teachers of the NKT. He has studied on the Teacher Training Program since 2003. Greg has many years of experience teaching Kadampa Buddhism in the Tampa Bay area. He is well known for the clarity of his presentation as well as his extensively knowledge of Buddha’s Sutra and Tantra teachings.

Jennifer Wise

Jennifer Wise

Jennifer has been a practitioner of Kadampa Buddhism since 2008, joined the Foundation Program in 2009 and Teacher Training Program in 2010. She has received empowerments and teachings directly from Geshe Kelsang Gyatso as well as other senior teachers of the NKT. She has attended and taught meditation classes at all levels of experience. In her own words, “Buddha’s teachings have changed my life. I’d like to help others use meditation to develop peaceful, happy minds.”

Ray Vogel

Ray Vogel

Ray has been a sincere student and practitioner of Kadampa Buddhism since 2011 when he studied on the Foundation and Teacher Training Programs at Kadampa Meditation Center Long Island. He has received empowerments and teachings directly from Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, founder of the New Kadampa Tradition. Ray has taught meditation classes in Long Island for many years and now teaches regular weekly classes at our Safety Harbor Center. With a very warm and humble presentation, Ray is known for his good heart and positive attitude.

Ron Caldwell

Ron Caldwell

Ron has been a sincere practitioner of Kadampa Buddhism since 2010 when he first began studying in Queens. In 2012 he moved to the Tampa Bay area and continued his study practice on the Teacher Training Program at KMC Tampa Bay. He has received many empowerments and teachings from many senior teachers in the NKT. Ron has been teaching regular weekly classes and day courses at KMC Tampa Bay for many years now. He is known for his calm and down-to-earth demeanor and is a great example of how to practically apply the teachings to daily life.
