Meditation and Buddhism in St. Petersburg

Water LilliesMeditation classes in St Petersburg teach basic meditation and the practice of Kadampa Buddhism. The purpose of these classes is to help people to gain personal experience of inner peace, to overcome their daily problems, and to find real happiness in their hearts. Our St Petersburg classes consist of guided meditations, a talk and discussion. The classes are suitable for everyone from beginners to experienced meditators. Each class is self contained, though you are welcome to attend the whole course. They provide an ideal introduction to meditation and Buddhism, teaching effective and practical methods for overcoming problems and increasing happiness in daily life.

Current Topic: Meditation and Modern Buddhism: Cultivate a Positive Way of Life

What does it really mean to be a good person and why strive to do so? Buddha explained that virtue is the true source of our happiness both now and in the future. In this series of classes, we will explore some practical methods for overcoming our negative habits and cultivate a pure and meaningful way of life. Give yourself a reason to become a better person!

Classes are $10 each. Register for the whole series or become a member and receive free the book “Living Meaningfully, Dying Joyfully”, which can be collected at the first class of this series.
