In this half-day workshop, special guest teacher Gen Tilopa will share some practical advice from Buddha’s teachings as well as from his own experience. Learn how to find balance, learn how to find peace and meaning in your life. Everyone is welcome to this special event.
Gen Kelsang Tilopa was ordained as a Kadampa Buddhist monk by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, founder of the New Kadampa Tradition – International Kadampa Buddhist Union. He has studied directly under the care of Geshe Kelsang for many years. Currently, Gen Tilopa is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center North Carolina in Charlotte, as well as Kosala Buddhist Center in Chapel Hill. He has been a teacher of Kadampa Buddhism for many years in the United States including in Atlanta, Georgia. Originating from Scotland, he is well loved for his humorous yet clear and profound teachings and for the great care he skillfully and compassionately gives to his students.
